On September 12, 2019, the Ethnic Groups Celebration of the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China will be held in the Yellow River Scenic Area.

To insure the success of the celebration, the People’s Government of Zhengzhou Municipality, according to Road Traffic Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China and other related regulations, approved that the traffic control would be temporarily put in place on some roads and in the Yellow River Scenic Area during the Ethnic Groups Celebration on September 12.

Location and Time

I. During the periods of 5:00-11:00 and 14:00-17:00 on September 12, 2019, the traffic control will be put in place temporarily on Jiangshan Road (from Sanquan Road to the Yellow River Scenic Area), Laojiangshan Road (from the junction of three roads on Jiangshan Road to Chezhanbei Road), Chezhanbei Road (from Jiangshan Road to Railway Shunting Training Base of Yellow River South Bank), Huangfu Road (the whole section) and the road in front of the Yellow River Scenic Area (from Chezhanbei Road to the front of the Yellow River Scenic Area). During the traffic control, any vehicles and personnel without the permission from the celebration authority shall not enter, stay or pass through the controlled sections.

II. From 5:00 to 18:00 on September 12, 2019, the traffic control will be temporarily put in place at Wuhui Bateau Bridge. During the traffic control, all vehicles are forbidden to pass through the bridge. If necessary, drivers who need to pass through Jiangshan Road and Wuhui Bateau Bridge from Zhengzhou to Jiaozuo can take a bypass to Zhengzhou Yellow River Express Bridge, Zhengxin Yellow River Bridge, Zhengzhou-Yuntaishan Expressway or Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway.

III. From 8:00 to 11:00 on September 12, 2019, the traffic control from south to north will be temporarily put in place at the underground channel of Jingguang Expressway (from South 3rd Ring Road to Tianhe Road) and the overpass while from 14:30 to 18:00, the traffic control from north to south will be temporarily put in place at in this section (including the underground channel and the overpass), as the case may be. During the traffic control, any vehicles and personnel without the permission from the celebration authority shall not enter or stay in this section. All vehicles marching from south to north along this section shall pass though quickly on the ground section of Jingguang Expressway.

IV. During the periods of 8:00-11:00 and 14:00-18:00 on September 12, 2019, possible temporary traffic operations will be taken at Zhongzhou Avenue (from Longhai Expressway to North 3rd Ring Road Expressway), Longhai Expressway (from West 3rd Ring Road to East 3rd Ring Road), West 3rd Ring Road Expressway (from North 3rd Ring Road Expressway to South 3rd Ring Road Expressway), South 3rd Ring Road Expressway (from Airport Express to West 3rd Ring Road Expressway), the ground section of North 3rd Ring Road (from West 3rd Ring Road to Nanyang Road), Songshan Road (from Longhai Expressway to Jianshe Road), Jianshe Road (from Songshan Road to Heyi Overpass), Jinshui Road (from Jinshui Interchange of Zhongzhou Avenue to Heyi Overpass), Jinshui E. Road (from East 4th Ring Road to Zhongzhou Avenue), Dongfeng South Road  (from Jinshui E. Road to Longhai Expressway), Kexue Avenue (from Changchun Road to West 3rd Ring Road Expressway), Yingcai Street (from Huayuan Road to Jiangshan Road), because it is of need to decrease the traffic flow at the above-mentioned sections. However, no traffic control will be implemented.

V. During the periods of 7:00-11:00 and 14:00-18:00pm on September 12, 2019, the traffic control will be put temporarily at Huiji Toll Station of Lianyungang-Khorgas Expressway, during which all vehicles shall not enter Jiangshan Road through Huiji Toll Station of Lianyungang-Khorgas Expressway. If necessary, drivers of small vehicles who need to leave the expressway at Huiji Toll Station can choose a bypass from Huayuan Road Toll Station of Lianyungang-Khorgas Expressway, Wenhua Road Toll Station and North Toll Station of West 3rd Ring Road; drivers of large vehicles who need to leave the expressway at Huiji Toll Station can choose a bypass from Gouzhao Toll Station of Lianyungang-Khorgas Expressway.

Some traffic sections may be out of the temporary traffic control in advance or according to different periods of time, as the case may be.

Companies and residents along the above-mentioned sections under temporary traffic control shall make plans for the traveling routes ahead of time in order to guarantee the normal production and daily activities.
