The Chartered Non-stop Flight from Zhengzhou to Mandalay will Open on April 30

On April 16, the tourism promotion conference of chartered non-stop flight from Zhengzhou to Mandalay is held at Zhengzhou Yuda Palace Hotel. The Director of the Division of Foreign Cooperation of Culture and Tourism Department of Henan Province and the President of Zhengzhou Tourism Association participated in this conference.

The event is held under the theme of “the Belt and Road in Myanmar, the tour to Mandalay”. The following five travel agencies have expressed the willingness of participation: China Travel Service of Henan Group,  China Comfort Travel Henan Co., Ltd., Henan China International Travel Service Co., Ltd., Henan Overseas Travel Co., Ltd., and Henan Dahua International Travel Service Co., Ltd. The first non-stop flight will depart from Zhengzhou to Mandalay on April 30, and the well-selected new Airbus A320 of China Express Airlines will be put into service. It will cost only 3.5 hours to reach Mandalay, and the flight will be available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Other noticeable information is the Myanmar-destined flight of G52649 (Zhengzhou 20:55 — Myanmar 23:05); the Zhengzhou-destined flight of G52650 (Myanmar 01:00 — Zhengzhou 06:00).

Since October 1, 2018, Myanmar carried out the visa-on-arrival policy for Chinese citizens, which provides great convenience to Chinese visitors to Myanmar. From 2018 and up to now, China has witnessed an increasing number of chartered non-stop flights to Myanmar, showing a strong rising tendency. Under this favorable environment, Zhengzhou opened the Myanmar-destined flight of this kind too, adding to the vitality of the tourism of Henan Province.

Country profile: Myanmar (officially the Republic of the Union of Myanmar) is the member of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Myanmar has Andaman Sea to the southwest and is bordered in the northwest by India and Bangladesh, in the northeast by China, and in the southeast by Laos and Thailand. Its capital city is Naypyidaw. The temperature change in this country is not big all year round. The coldest month is January when the average temperature is from 20°C to 25°C; the hottest days are from April to May, when the average temperature is from 25°C to 30°C. Moreover, all of its regions are sharing similar year temperature differences too, so that Myanmar is an ideal destination for travelers.
