On July 30, the "Tai Chi Trilogy — Li Yingjie Photography Exhibition", which was hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee and the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and was undertaken by the Zhengzhou Art Museum, was held in the new venue of Zhengzhou Art Museum. The exhibition is divided into "Tai Chi Boxing", "Tai Chi Diagram", and "Heluo Image", presenting the cultural reflections on Taiji culture and Heluo culture of Mr. Li over the past 12 years in the form of photographic works.

Li Fang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Director of the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism, said in her welcome speech that the "Tai Chi Trilogy — Li Yingjie Photography Exhibition" was the implementation of the national strategy of the Yellow River Basin by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee and the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism, a vital cultural event to better tell Yellow River's story, which was of great meaning to deeply interpret the current Yellow River Spirit and push forward the development and inheritance of Yellow River Culture in the new era.

Liu Luyu, Vice Chairman of China Photographers Association, Vice Chairman of Henan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, First-level Inspector, and Chairman of Henan Photographers Association, spoke highly of the work of Zhengzhou Art Museum. At the same time, he said that Mr. Li Yingjie had devoted himself to photography for more than a decade and obtained remarkable artistic achievements, in particular, the Golden Statue Award for China photography. His "Tai Chi Trilogy" series is a dialog between the artist's soul and the universe, inferring the contemporary Chinese culture.

Artist Li Yingjie said in his speech that the "Tai Chi Boxing" of his "Tai Chi Trilogy" series used slow shutter speed photography to visualize the performer's trajectory, which presented the Taiji culture in the "Tai Chi Diagram". The "Heluo Image" was inspired by He-Tu Luo-Shu, thus seeking for connection with heaven and earth and presenting a picture of the starry universe.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Li Yingjie donated 30 works of the Yellow River-themed "Tai Chi Trilogy" photography exhibition to Zhengzhou Art Museum. On behalf of Zhengzhou Art Museum, Yan Ping, Party Branch Secretary of Zhengzhou Art Museum, awarded Mr. Li Yingjie the Collection Certificate of Zhengzhou Art Museum.

After the opening ceremony, the "'Tai Chi Trilogy — Li Yingjie Photography Exhibition' Academic Seminar" was organized in the Art Classics Space on the first floor of the new venue. Li Nan, a critic, editor and curator, served as the academic host. The attendees discussed topics including the relationship between Tai Chi culture and Heluo culture, the development status and trend of photography in Henan in recent years, as well as the work system, style characteristics, culturological significance, and the absorption and expression of the spirit of traditional Chinese culture of Li Yingjie's "Tai Chi Trilogy" series and exchanged their opinions.

On the afternoon of July 30, "'Tai Chi Trilogy — Li Yingjie's Photography Exhibition' Sharing Session" was held in the second exhibition hall of the new venue. The guests attending the sharing session were Song Yuqin, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Peking University, Li Nan, a critic, editor, and curator, Li Yingjie, Photographer of "Tai Chi Trilogy", and Fan Xiang, a famous book binding designer. Li Nan served as the host of the sharing session.

Fan Xiang, the bookbinding designer of "Tai Chi Trilogy", shared several topics, such as "Tai Chi Trilogy Book Design Concept" and "How to balance limited book size and unlimited works in design".
