Huiji District Cooperates with Chinese National Geography to Successfully Hold the “Dameihuiji” Photography Competition

To explore the abundant ecological and cultural tourism resources in Huiji District, and show its great changes in city and countryside as well as industrial development over recent years, Huiji District, since April this year, has cooperated with Chinese National Geography to plan for the “Dameihuiji” Photography Competition.

Through the ways of collecting works from shutterbugs nationwide and inviting well-known photographers to visit Huiji District, this competition has gathered more than 1,500 photos and images in the aspects of nature, tourism resources, industrial development, historical culture, sports, urban environment, urban construction, public life and urban spirit, all of which are displayed on the special column for “Dameihuiji, Chinese National Geography” online.

This September, combined with online voting and expert review, the Organizing Committee selected 11 pieces of award-winning works, and sorted out over 80 entries, which are printed on the Photography of Damei Huiji for issuance. Meanwhile, part of excellent works were displayed during the activity of “Stay True to the Mission, Huiji Memory—Huiji Historical Photography Exhibition for the Celebration of 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up”, representing the development achievements of Huiji District during the process of constructing “the innovation area for integrated industrial development and the ecologically livable and employable tourist city” in a multi-platform and multi-form way.
