Zhengzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway Officially Opens

It is now possible to drink a bowl of Spicy Soup in the morning in Zhengzhou, and taste Noodles with Satay Sauce and Oyster Omelette in the evening in Xiamen. On the morning of November 25, the Zhengzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway (HSR) officially opened with a running duration of 10 hours and 39 minutes, giving Zhengzhou citizens a new choice for traveling and visiting relatives to Xiamen.

At 8:14 of the same day, the HSR Team III of the Zhengzhou passenger section served as the stewards on the Zhengzhou-Xiamen high-speed train through four provinces—Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Fujian, including metropolises like Wuhan, Quanzhou and Fuzhou, as well as scenic resorts like Mount Lu and the Wuyi Mountains, finally to Xiamen, finishing in 10 hours and 39 minutes. 40 excellent high speed stewards were selected from the HSR Team III, and accepted a systematic pre-post training.

The provinces that the Zhengzhou-Xiamen train passes are large tea-producing areas in China. Thus the coming of the Zhengzhou-Xiamen high-speed rail will start your tea-tasting journey, from Xinyang Maojian Tea in Henan and Biluochun Tea in Hubei, to Lushan Yunwu Tea in Jiangxi, Tieguanyin in Fujian and Da Hong Pao in the Wuyi Mountains. On the first day, the stewards of the Team III drank tea and talked with passengers, introducing the places of interest along the route, along with the beautiful dance and sweet songs being performed in the railway carriage.

The opening of the Zhengzhou-Xiamen high-speed rail will sharply reduce the time from Henan to Fujian, which is shortened to 10 hours and 39 minutes from 23 hours 44 minutes of the original trains. In addition, it will enhance exchanges of people in Henan and Fujian, making the dream—drinking Spicy Soup in the morning, appreciating Mount Lushan at noon, and visiting Gulang Island in the evening—come true.
