Passion in Summer, Beauty in Gongyi — Gongyi Launches the 2022 Summer Vacation Cultural Tourism Consumption Season

On the evening of June 24, 2022, the top mansion of the Ming and Qing dynasties of China, Kang Baiwan’s Mansion, started its first night-tour activity, marking the launch of the “Passion in Summer, Beauty in Gongyi” 2022 Summer Vacation Cultural Tourism Consumption Season sponsored by Gongyi Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism & Sports.

The activity is committed to efficiently coordinating COVID-19 prevention and control and the development of the economy and society, stimulating the consumption potential in cultural tourism, and boosting industrial confidence. Gongyi Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism & Sports well planned, overall arranged, and carefully carried out the “Passion in Summer, Beauty in Gongyi” 2022 Summer Vacation Cultural Tourism Consumption Season activity integrated with all-round tourism resources across the city including food, accommodation, transportation, shopping, and entertainment, making full efforts on facilitating the recovery of the cultural tourism market.

Centering on the theme of promoting consumption, the Bureau has also organized diverse supporting activities in various forms, such as “Creative Gongyi with Cultural Tourist IP”, “Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival”, “Music, Beer, and Delicacy Festival”, “New Cultural Tourism Benefits Life”, “Cinema for All”, and so on. During the Consumption Season, cultural tourism consumption vouchers of 2 million yuan in total will be issued to citizens and tourists, making the achievement of cultural tourism development benefit more people.

It is learned that the “See Kang Baiwan’s Mansion Again” themed activity is the first night-tour project of the mansion. The mansion employs hi-tech to integrate light, scenery, and people into a whole, building a characteristic internet-famous site.
