Gongyi's Cultural Tourism Market Recovers Strongly with Wonderful Activities During the May Day Holiday!
During the May Day holiday in 2023, the cultural tourism market in Gongyi City was safe, stable, booming and orderly, with a total of 650,500 tourists received, up 10.07% compared with that in 2019, and achieved a comprehensive tourism revenue of RMB 161 million, up 10.79% compared with that in 2019.
Among them, the Kang Bai-wan's Mansions held live performances such as "Empress Dowager Cixi Visits Kang Bai-wan's Mansions" and "Yellow River Aria", while Changshou Mountain Scenic Area offered discounts such as free admission and half-price for entertainment projects. The Du Fu's Hometown introduced the immersive night tour project "Du Fu Returns", and the Fuxi Mountain Xuehua Cave Scenic Resort held characteristic activities such as the "Clap Your Hands and Fall in Love" Cultural Tourism Festival, while the Gongyi Museum elaborately launched a series of activities such as "Learning History in the Museum" and "Ancient Civilization" activities. A total of 198,000 tourists visited various scenic areas in the city, generating tourism revenue of RMB 3.49 million.
Rural tourism was extremely popular during this holiday. Xiaoguan Town and Kangdian Town respectively held the 2023 National Car Challenge and the fourth Mangling Flower Sea and Yellow River Wetland Cycling Activity. Lishan Mingyue, Shangu Juexing, Yangshugou Camping Site held a series of activities including valley music, outdoor play, camping, and outdoor barbecues. During the holiday, 156,000 tourists visited rural tourism sites in the city.
