Zoo Introduces 20 Wallabies and 18 Toucans

Have you ever seen wallabies and toucans? Yesterday, the municipal zoo introduced 20 wallabies and 18 toucans as new tourist attractions.
It’s learned that those 20 wallabies included 10 red-necked wallabies and 10 Parma wallabies. Red-necked wallabies’ neck color changes from russet to dark red during puberty. In one leap, they can jump as far as 8m. They love eating grasses, carrots, apples and vegetables. The Parma wallaby is about 50cm in body length and in tail length. It’s the smallest member of the genus Macropus.          This species is shy. So far, the municipal zoo has four wallaby species, including previously existing white wallabies and red wallabies.
Moreover, the zoo also introduced 9 channel-billed toucans and 9 white-throated toucans, both endemic to tropical forests and listed in The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
