On April 19, a joint promotion conference for premium scenic spots in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Hubei Three Gorges Tourism Group (Two Dams and One Gorge) initiated by Lichuan’s cultural tourism industry was held in Zhengzhou, Henan. It showcased the picturesque landscapes from the 30^th parallel north and extended a warm invitation to explore the Cool City!

Lichuan is located on the southwestern border of Hubei, adjacent to Sichuan and Chongqing to the west, Enshi Prefecture to the east, Hunan to the south, and the Three Gorges to the north. It is the hinterland of the “Bashan and Xiachuan” region described in Lu Yu’s “The Classic of Tea”. Lichuan boasts an excellent ecological environment and pleasant climate, with an average summer temperature of 22.1°C, which earn it the reputation of a “natural oxygen bar” and a “Cool City”.

At the promotion conference, Zhou Aihua, Deputy Mayor of Lichuan Municipal People’s Government, led guests on a tour of Lichuan. She comprehensively promoted tourism products in Lichuan from the aspects of cultural customs, ecological environment, and healthcare vacation, introducing the best scenic spots for Zhengzhou tourists and attracting local key travel agencies to organize group tours for the tourists.

It is hoped that through this event, the cultural tourism industries of the two places can further deepen cooperation, complement each other’s advantages, send each other’s tourists, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, to jointly promote the high-quality development of cultural tourism industries in both places.
