The Third Season of Every Treasure Tells a Story Will Be Broadcast on the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day

On June 5, the news from the Online Press Conference of 2020 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day held by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in Beijing said that the third season of Every Treasure Tells a Story would be broadcast on June 13, the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day. Twenty-five national treasures spanning from the Wei, Jin and Northern and Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty will be on display, including several treasures from the National Museum of China. It is particularly worth mentioning that in this season's Every Treasure Tells a Story, the audience will have a chance to deeply understand a number of related exhibits in the basic exhibition of "Ancient China" in the National Museum.

The 100-episode documentary Every Treasure Tells a Story was jointly made by China Media Group and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and produced by the Film and Television Documentary Center of China Media Group. Each episode tells a story of a national treasure in 5 minutes. Each cultural heritage in the documentary symbolizes an era, marking the traces of the Chinese civilization in the history. The documentary aims to build a video index of the Chinese civilization by spreading culture and telling the progress of civilization with cultural heritages.
