Under the theme of “The Ancient Capital of Zhengzhou”, the basic exhibitions take Zhengzhou’s splendid bronze civilization in Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties as the main line to highlight Zhengzhou Shang City and Ancient Capital Complex, the unique and landmark historical & cultural heritage, and emphasize the distinctive characteristics of Zhengzhou in terms of the origin of Chinese civilization and the foundation of the country.

There are three exhibition areas of “Ode to Mountains and Rivers—Fertile Soil for Civilization”, “Ode to Zhengzhou Shang City — Capital of Emperor”, and “Charm of Zheng and Han States — Ancient Capital in the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods”.
