Flood Control| 40 A-level Scenic Spots in the City Have Been Affected and Are Being Inspected and Repaired! Flood Control and Reconstruction Meeting Held in Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism

On the afternoon of July 27, Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism held a meeting on flood control and reconstruction. According to the meeting, up to now, 40 of the 51 A-level scenic spots in the city have been affected by the flood. Mudslides and road collapses are serious in the scenic spots involving mountains and rivers in the western region, and the infrastructures of these scenic spots are severely damaged. Relevant scenic spots are under intensive inspection and repair.

At the meeting, the cultural tourism departments of all development zones, districts and counties (cities) reported the damage to tourist attractions and public cultural tourism facilities within their jurisdiction. It's learned that 40 of the 51 A-level scenic spots in the city have been affected. Mudslides and road collapses are serious in the scenic spots involving mountains and rivers in the western region, and the infrastructures of these scenic spots are severely damaged. Water and electricity are cut off in many scenic spots, and the communication network is interrupted. The scenic spots along the Yellow River and Zhongmu County are soaked in high levels of flood for a long time, resulting in serious damage to public service facilities and equipment.

It's learned that Zhengzhou has successively organized the closure of scenic spots since July 17, so the preliminary preparations are relatively sufficient to effectively avoid malignant accidents. Since the extraordinary rainstorm on July 20, the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism has actively responded to minimize the loss, and at the same time, it has given full play to its social welfare functions. Libraries, homestays and star-rated hotels have also become the "guardian" of the city since the rainstorm.

In addition, while doing a good job in flood control and reconstruction, the cultural and tourism industry of the city should pay close attention to safety production, further improve safety awareness, do a good job in safety inspection, and strictly prevent malignant accidents. As the epidemic is still severe, all epidemic prevention measures will continue to be strictly implemented and the epidemic prevention and control line will be firmly established.
