In the ancient government office of Neixiang County, tourists can visit along the central axis, on which these buildings are distributed as follows, screen wall, Xuanhua memorial archway, gateway, and door of etiquette, as well as main buildings including main hall, second hall, and third hall. On the east-west axis, there are county deputy governor's office, registrar's office, county police chief's office, drawing room, storage room, financing office, prison and so on. The whole architectural complex was devised in Qing dynasty style, with its upward-facing tile roofs and animal-sculptures-decorated ridges. The architectural style demonstrates the local governments’ features in Qing Dynasty as follows: Firstly, the gate faces towards the south, left-hand buildings are built for civil officials, and right-hand for military officials. Secondly, the halls are located on the axis, the administration area are in the front, and the residential area in the back. Finally, the prison is located at the south side. Meanwhile, it also shows the traditional ritual system thoughts.
