The period from late July to early August is critical for China's flood prevention. At the same time, the summer vacation is also beginning in China. Therefore, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China reminds tourists:

I. Enhance the awareness of flood prevention. During the travel, pay attention to weather changes and the latest forecast and early warning information in time, be alert to safety risks such as landslides, rockfalls, debris flows, and flash floods, adjust the travel itinerary in time, and avoid emergencies in time.

II. Enhance the awareness of fire safety. Strictly abide by the fire safety management regulations, and do not smoke, barbecue, or use open flames in places with many flammables or fire prevention tips. When checking into hotels or eating in restaurants, ask for information about fire evacuation routes in time, and do not lie on the sofa or in bed smoking.

III. Enhance the awareness of being polite during travel. Protect cultural relics, historic sites, ecological environment, and public facilities, observe public order, respect local cultural traditions and religious beliefs, follow the code of conduct for tourism, and carry forward new etiquette rules for tourism.

IV. Pay attention to heatstroke prevention. When it is hot, reasonably arrange travel itineraries and activities to avoid traveling outdoors or shorten the time and scientifically adjust the rest time. Under special circumstances, follow the command and arrangement of staff to ensure orderly evacuation.
