Intangible Cultural Heritage | Zhengzhou 2023 Crosstalk Competition Came to an End

Recently, the 2023 Intangible Cultural Heritage Crosstalk Competition of "National Treasures Passed Down from Generation to Generation" in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province came to an end at the Happy Crosstalk Theater.

The competition was hosted by Zhengzhou Cultural Center and Zhengzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, undertaken by Zhengzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Association, Zhengzhou Culture and Art Exchange Association and Erqi District Public Cultural Center, and co-organized by Henan Zhengzhengrishang Culture Communication Co., Ltd. The crosstalk competition was live-streamed online, attracting more than 100,000 viewers. After preliminary screening, 16 groups of contestants have successfully advanced to the final round.

In the future, Zhengzhou will continue to prioritize inheritance, innovation, exchange and promotion as key themes for advancing the crosstalk art. The aim is to propel the inheritance and development of crosstalk art, invigorate the creative passion among crosstalk actors, uphold and advance the cultural significance of crosstalk, identify and popularize outstanding crosstalk works and talents, and create a platform for competition and exchange for the development of intangible cultural heritage, so as to improve the proficiency of crosstalk performers, elevate the attention and recognition of crosstalk art across various sectors, and magnify the brilliance of this time-honored art in the new era.
