"The 4th Plenary Session of the 12th CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee has sounded the clarion call for the comprehensive promotion of China's modernization in Zhengzhou." Jing Xueping, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director of Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television & Tourism, stated that the Bureau will conscientiously implement the spirit of this plenary session and the 2023 Zhengzhou Cultural Tourism and Creative Industries Development Conference, deeply promote the strategic action of integrating culture, tourism, and creative industries, vigorously carry out the activities of "benchmarks in our work, standards in our implementation, and milestones in our accomplishments", adhere to the principle of shaping tourism with culture and highlighting culture through tourism, promote the high-quality development of cultural tourism and creative industries in Zhengzhou, and comprehensively establish the urban brand of "The Centre of Heaven and Earth, the Cradle of Chinese Civilization, and Kung Fu Zhengzhou", accelerating the construction of Zhengzhou as a national key area for inheriting and innovating Chinese historical civilization and an internationally renowned tourist destination.

The Bureau will focus on enhancing the quality of cultural tourism and creating internationally renowned tourist destinations. Centered around the super IP of "The Centre of Heaven and Earth", the Bureau will polish the 5A-level "golden signboard" of Songshan Shaolin Scenic Area and strive to create a world-class tourist attraction. With Chinese Kung Fu as the theme and Shaolin Temple as the core, Kung Fu tourism products with international appeal will be developed. Additionally, the Bureau will do a good job in the tourism development for the four major regions of Zhengzhou.

The Bureau aims to enhance urban tourism by highlighting fashion and creativity. It plans to construct an international cultural tourism and leisure district, which will serve as a cultural consumption hub combining cultural spaces for leisure, historical and cultural experiences, themed immersive interaction, and cultural and social relaxation.

In line with the goal of promoting new cultural tourism, the Bureau will actively enrich the tourism experience. By developing new forms and creating innovative scenarios and models, the Bureau will enhance the fashion and youthful vitality of the central urban area.

The Bureau will work towards creating new scenes and stimulating new vitality for cultural tourism consumption. It plans to establish a high-standard nighttime cultural tourism consumption area and accelerate the creation of nighttime leisure consumption products and activities.

The Bureau is also committed to cultivating the city's brand and constructing cultural tourism symbols. Zhengzhou's abundant cultural and tourism resources will be fully utilized to enhance the content supply system and publicity system for cultural tourism and creative industries. Through these efforts, the city brand of "The Centre of Heaven and Earth, the Cradle of Chinese Civilization, and Kung Fu Zhengzhou" will be fully established.
